WALES

From 1st September 2010, every initial Planning application must have a sustainability report produced to the requirements of Technical Advice Note 22 (amended November 2010).

Energy Check will provide you with a report at reasonable cost, consisting of the following information:

          • Certification of Site Registration for the Code for Sustainable Homes
          • Full Code Pre-Assessment Report
          • Low or Zero Carbon Renewables Matrix (for the particular Development)
          • Information on suitable renewables
          • Outline constructional specification
          • Flood risk map and topographical information

Energy Check can subsequently provide pre-construction and as-built Code assessments (and certification) to the requirements of TAN22.

Clients should be made aware of the cost implications of the directive, which may be considerable.
